Liberal cabinet retreat in Banff
Prime Minister Mark Carney and his ministers at the Liberal cabinet retreat at the Banff Centre.

The Liberal cabinet opened its two-day retreat at the Banff Centre on Sept. 10, and I was there with a camera and some questions.
Prime Minister Mark Carney arrived and didn't answer questions. Ministers Dominic LeBlanc and Anita Anand didn't answer mine either. Minister Marc Miller said the Liberals have a plan for commemorating 9/11.
In late August, a leaked CBC memo restated guidance not to refer to the Sept. 11 attacks as terrorist attacks. On Aug. 28, CBC said its practice is to attribute the word, that it would no longer require that for 9/11, and that it has never said the attacks weren't terrorism (AP; CBC News).
